Is this treatment pain free?

Moxi™ is a gentle treatment with brilliant results. We like our patients to be as comfy as possible. Depending on the level of your treatment, we may place a prescription-strength anesthetic cream on the skin 30 minutes prior to treatment. Some treatments may not require anesthetic at all. Indeed, some patients prefer to avoid the topical anesthetic altogether.

How long does it take to see results?

Results will vary depending on the current condition of your skin and your goals.

What do I need to do for post-treatment?

In general, post-treatment care is simple; wear a moisturizing physical sunscreen, stay out of the sun and don’t wear makeup for 24 hours.

How many treatments will I need?

The number of treatments you’ll need will depend on your individual goals and the level of damage you come in with. Many patients see an improvement after one session but most need 3-4 to achieve optimal results.

Is this permanent?

Unfortunately, there is no such thing as a “permanent” result, nor a “cure” for hyperpigmentation. Life is a dynamic process, and our skin is exposed to sun damage, pollutants, and environmental assaults daily. As such, correction of uneven skin tone is an on-going and ever-evolving process that requires both daily attention, and effective medical treatments. Most patients will need to come in for regular maintenance treatments throughout the year. The treatment is ideal for safe, on-going prevention and maintenance of your brightest, most beautiful skin- no matter your skin tone.
