P Shot in Arlington Texas

P-Shot® in Arlington

More than half of American men will suffer from erectile dysfunction and/or sexual dysfunction in their lifetime. This number may even be higher because this is an uncomfortable topic for many men to talk about so they never seek treatment for it. You don’t have to suffer in silence anymore and you don’t have to ask your doctor for a script; you just need to book an appointment with us for the P-Shot®.

P Shot at PAS

What is the P-Shot®?

The P-Shot® is a cutting edge in-office procedure designed to rejuvenate and enhance your penis using your own blood. We take a blood sample and spin it in our centrifuge to separate your body’s own platelet rich plasma (PRP) from your red blood cells. The PRP is then injected back into your body in strategic locations on the penis to help the tissue begin to replenish itself. A post-treatment care program of penile pump therapy will also be advised.

Over time, your body will utilize the PRP to rejuvenate and restore your penis, allowing it to function at maximum performance again.

FAQs

What happens during my consultation?

During your first visit Dr. Greco and our certified staff will go through your medical history with you. This includes reviewing your medical and surgical history, medications you are taking, social habits, and allergies you may have. From there, we will go over how the P-Shot® works and what you can expect during your P-Shot® treatment.

Is the P-Shot® safe?

Yes! Because we are using your own PRP, there is no risk of allergic reaction or your body rejecting the treatment.

Will I need anesthesia?

No! We will give you a topical anesthetic cream to decrease discomfort at the treatment site. It is a comfortable and quick procedure that takes minutes to complete. We also offer you the option of our gentle “laughing gas” mixture that immediately relieves anxiety in just a few short breaths.

How long do results last?

If you stay in relatively good health, results can last for a year or longer. Many patients will come in 1-3 times per year for maintenance treatments, but you may find it’s not necessary.

Are there any intimacy restrictions after I get the procedure?

No.  There is no downtime or intimacy restrictions after this treatment.  You can leave your appointment and return to your normal schedule including being intimate.

Are there any contraindications?

Because we are using your very own blood, there is no true “contraindication” for this treatment. There are, however, several factors that can significantly blunt your response, making it worth your while to save the treatment for later. A patient should be in general good health, and leading a healthy lifestyle at the time of treatment. There should be no active infection or illness. Use of steroids, and other anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen, aspirin, naprosyn, Advil, Aleve, Motrin, etc should be avoided. Excess alcohol consumption should be avoided before, during, and after treatment. Smoking should be avoided. Good hydration is key.

Who is a good candidate for this treatment?

A good candidate for this procedure is a male, 18 years of age and older, that is experiencing signs of sexual dysfunction including erectile dysfunction or a decrease in sexual performance or satisfaction.

THe P-SHot is also a safe and innovative treatment for men with normal and satisfying intimate lives, who wish to further enhance their intimate experience, and maintain penis health.

This procedure may not be suited for men currently being treated for prostate issues, cancer or other major health issues, including and not limited to: heart and lung disease, uncontrolled diabetes and high blood pressure, steroid use, bleeding disorders, HIV, Hepatitis C, and/or general poor health. Please disclose all of your current health conditions to Dr. Rebecca Greco or Amy Haddad, NP at your initial consultation.

How much does the P-Shot® cost and will my insurance cover it?

The P-Shot® is $1,800 per treatment.  Certified Providers, such as PAS,  adhere to non-compete pricing standards.  Insurance does not cover the cost of this procedure.

What is the Priapus Shot?

The Priapus Shot® is just another name for the P-Shot®.
