Microneedling with Skin Pen

SkinPen Microneedling

At PAS, we provide microneedling treatments with the only FDA approved microneedling device, the SkinPen.  SkinPen is clinically proven to improve the appearance of facial acne scars for people aged 22 and above in all skin types, and has emerged to become a disruptive treatment in skin rejuvenation.  The SkinPen addresses many other issues that prevent your BEST skin from shining through.  After a SkinPen treatment you can expect to see:

  • An improvement in acne scarring
  • Brighter skin tone
  • Decreased brown spots
  • Smaller pore size
  • Improved skin firmness

Piercing the skin and creating tiny microchannels triggers your immune system to cleanse the wound, elminate buildup, increase blood flow and begin the process of creating new tissue.

As the wounds heal, they are rebuilt with new granulation cells and a new network of blood vessels develop.  This begins to allow the skin to regain elasticity minimizing the appearance of scars, fine lines, wrinkles and more.

The final stage is remodeling.  In this phase, the wound is replaced with dermal tissue and blood vessels.

More Ways to Benefit from the SkinPen

In addition to using the SkinPen as a standalone service, we often combine it with PRP to perform the Ultimate PRP- Microneedling treatment, also known as a Vampire Facial®. PRP Microneedling can be performed over the neck, decolletage, back of hands, even the knees to plumpen thin, crepey skin and revitalize the skin’s appearance.

I've seen other devices used for microneedling, why is the SkinPen better?

The SkinPen is the only FDA approved device for microneedling.  If you find a provider using something else, proceed with caution.  Devices that have not been properly tested can actually be harmful to your skin.
